ABOUT FLOWERS ON THE ROOFTOP

Cody York’s Rooftop print editions are based on the paintings from York’s series, Flowers on the Rooftop (2022) - created at his Downtown Los Angeles, California studio loft. Produced with a rich and diverse palette on roofing paper, these works capture the essence of new life and decay of seemingly endless species of flowers. They mark a natural evolution in York’s own practice, and his engagement with the tension between realism and abstraction. The interrelation between humanity and the environment is an important theme: York said that he wants the works “to feel like the excitement and anticipation we get when we transplant nature into urban environments.”

Customers will be contacted with a tracking number before their work is shipped. Value-Added tax (VAT) will be added on all international shipments.
