ABOUT IMAGINATION MARKS
Cody York’s IMAGINATION MARKS ( c.2022-2025 ) reflects a deliberate precision characterized by structured compositions where each element is carefully arranged to create movement across the surface. They symbolize a natural evolution in York’s own practice, and his engagement with the tension between realism and abstraction. Imagination Marks are superimposed with thousands of the artist’s own rural landscape photographs captured throughout California and Colorado. These photographs are combined with urban light burst photographs of Los Angeles and Denver created by using the artist’s loose and energetic hand gestures. York then digitally colors, cuts and intersects these images directing the viewer’s gaze, establishing a sense of balance and wonder. York’s Imagination Marks exude a deep, colorful and dynamic presence, revealing a playful and exciting energy that is both atmospheric and profound.

PRODUCTION
After selecting the image, the size of the print and the purchase is complete, we will start production of the artworks. Each work will be numbered and hand-signed by the artist on the label, and carefully packaged for shipment.
SHIPPING
Cody York Studio aims to deliver all the artworks within 1 month of the purchase date. Please note that the exact timing is subject to demand, production capacities and potential shipping delays. Customers will be contacted with a tracking number before their work is shipped. Value-Added tax (VAT) will be added on all international shipments. Returns are excepted up till 30 days after shipment.
